The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is seeking to appoint a Head Contractor who will be responsible for completing the design process, engaging suitable subcontractors and executing the works with sufficient NZDF and design team oversight in order to improve the Devonport Naval Base Navy Fuel Installation systems resilience, reliability, redundancy and lifetime maintenance costs.

The current NFI control system is considered a bespoke legacy system that while fit for purpose creates risk of failure for the fueling/defueling process. Upgrades are required removing the risk of failure.

The contractor will be working in a fully operational NZDF facility and will need to coordinate the works with key NZDF stakeholders.
