Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the design and construction of new sports field irrigation on Wanganui Oval, Shepparton. The construction of the new raw water supply, with the option to switch to potable water, will support much increased community sport use at this location.

A non-compulsory pre-tender site visit will be held on Wednesday 4 December 2024 at 10.00am (AEDT).

Tenderers are required to register their interest in attending via the Briefing/Inspection tab on the tendering portal.

Quotes can be only lodged on line. Please note Greater Shepparton City Council no longer accepts hardcopy quotes. Please submit all quotes through the tendering website.

It is Council’s policy not to accept quotes received after the specified closing time.

Council will not accept any quotes by facsimile, or by e-mail.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS:

• Contract 2416 Design and Construction of Wanganui Oval Irrigation, Shepparton Vic is a Lump Sum Contract. Council expressly advises that failure to supply pricing in the section provided will result in your quote not being evaluated.
• All Quote Schedules 1-8 (inclusive) must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated.
• You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the RESPONSE tab.
• All submissions must be submitted via this online portal; submissions made through any other means will not be accepted or considered.
• Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted, and you will be unable to continue.
• You are encouraged to upload your submission early to avoid missing out.
• We recommend you access a good quality network/internet connection. Greater Shepparton City Council is not responsible for your internet connection quality.
• All communications regarding the submission must be via the online forum. If you have any questions or require assistance, you must lodge an online query through the QUESTIONS tab no later than five (5) days prior to tender close.
