Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Northern Territory Homelessness Strategy aims to strengthen the homelessness system to deliver improved outcomes for Territorians who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

In applying for funding applicants acknowledge their mutual interest in preventing homelessness with particular regard to people experiencing disproportionate housing inequality and disadvantage.

This program has three key priority areas:

Intervene early to prevent homelessness
Deliver culturally safe services that focus on people experiencing homelessness
Building an effective homelessness system.

Integrated Tenancy Sustainability

Site specific provision of intensive support for people with complex needs and an existing tenancy to provide tenancy and life skills education and capability building to prevent eviction and/or assisting in maintaining and sustaining stable, long-term accommodation.

Recurrent funding from 1 July 2025 will be provided to support the delivery of the funded activities for a 4-year period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029.

Non-recurrent funding will be provided for one-off innovative and/or service improvement activities as defined in the grant application.
