TfNSW has prepared a Proposed Contract to include Heavy Vehicle Fleet Leasing and Fleet Management Services for Road Maintenance & Resilience (RMR) and Sydney Trains (ST) fleets.

Project goals

Road Maintenance & Resilience and Sydney Trains currently operate separate fleets of heavy vehicles leased under separate Agreements.

The Transport Agreement for Road Maintenance & Resilience is for the provision of leases for heavy vehicles through the existing “Provision of Heavy Vehicle Leasing Services to TfNSW” Contract which expires July 2025. There are currently two suppliers on this panel engaged in the current contract.

The Transport Agreement for Sydney Trains is for the provision of operating lease and fleet management of heavy vehicles and mobile plant under a sole supplier supply agreement which expires in June 2025.

This Open Tender is for the provision of Heavy Vehicle Leasing and Fleet Management Services for Road Maintenance & Resilience and Sydney Trains under a panel over a term of 9 years including an initial period of 3 years plus two extension options of 3 years each (3 initial +3+3 year contract term). The Scope of Work component for Fleet Management Services (included in the Proposed Contract)

Scope

This Open Tender is for the provision of Heavy Vehicle Leasing and Fleet Management Services for Road Maintenance & Resilience and Sydney Trains under a panel over a term of 9 years including an initial period of 3 years plus two extension options of 3 years each (3 initial +3+3 year contract term). The Scope of Work component for Fleet Management Services (included in the Proposed Contract)will be optional for ST and ROM to implement based on each operating agency’s requirement.
