Tender Description

Development Victoria (DV) is seeking to engage a Civil Engineering Consultant to lead and coordinate the civil engineering services for an upcoming project in the Greater Geelong Region.

The procurement will be conducted as a Selective Tender with selected bidders to be registered under the “Civil Engineer” category of the Construction Supplier Register (CSR). Participation from consultants based in the Greater Geelong region is encouraged. Selected Bidders will need to demonstrate experience and capability in master planned residential communities (approximately 150-200 dwellings) including medium density housing whilst managing complex topography.

DV expects the release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) to occur in late November 2024 via the Buying for Victoria portal.

The Consultant Services are expected to commence in February 2024 with the consultant engaged under Development Victoria’s Major Consultancy Agreement.

This procurement is subject to the Local Jobs First policy as a Standard Project, the Social Procurement Framework and Fair Jobs Code.

Bidders who are eligible under the CSR are encouraged to register their interest to participate in the tender via a registration of interest. However, only selected bidders will be eligible to receive the RFP. The registration of interest period will be open from when this Advance Tender Notice has been posted up until 2 business days before the tender opens (nominally 25 November 2024).

Registration of interest is to be confirmed via email to regional.housing@development.vic.gov.au
