Tender Description
The BOT at Tawa College are are seeking the services of a Main Building Contractor, to undertake the construction works for the internal upgrades for blocks D and K at Tawa College.
This involves the following work
• Walls - Existing wall linings to remain, new level 4 paint finish, full height Autex cube as outlined in green and orange lines.
• Ceiling – Acoustic panels to Existing ceilings (check existing condition, allow to replace if damaged)
• Ceiling lightings to be replaced with LED lights
• Floors – Remove and replace existing floor coverings and install new acoustic backed non patterned/non textured carpet tiles as required by Inclusive design principles
• Doors – Remove and replace Existing internal timber doors with new and painted contrasting colour as required, allowance for new door handles
• Heating - Remove and replace existing radiators high wall heatpumps • Visual alert lightings to all three rooms G.04, G.05, G.06 and Hallway Entry
• Remove and replace existing single glazed timber Door D01 and replace with new aluminum door compliant with Accessible requirements
• New alert lighting
Please note - this work must be initiated in either late December or early January. The project must be completed in February.
The Contractor will be engaged through an MOE medium works contract (Construction contracts for professional services and works).
