The specialist reports for Clyde Quay School have identified roofing that is to be replaced on both Blocks A and B.
To Block A an area of membrane roofing will be replaced with a pitched metal roofing solution which requires some re-framing.
To Block B the pitched metal roofing will be replaced with new metal roofing. This work will allow to remove and reinstate the solar panel system.
Clear roofing will be replaced with new trafficable translucent roofing laid over wire mesh.
The Block A and B works will be undertaken as separate stages to minimise disruption to the school’s normal operations targeting the Christmas school holidays.
The project is deemed important and requires delivery in an efficient and timely manner. To reduce the impact of these works on both the school term time and the early childhood operating time the works are required to begin in mid-December 2026 and be completed as early in the new year as is possible.
