The Training Committee in Sexual Health Medicine is seeking expressions of interest for Appointed Member/s to become a member of the TCSHM.
Description
The TCSHM is currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Appointed Member Positions:
- 1 position starting immediately
- 1 position starting in March 2025
The Training Committee in Sexual Health Medicine (TCSHM) oversees the Advanced Training program in Sexual Health Medicine. The role involves:
- monitoring and reviewing training program requirements and curricula in consultation with relevant stakeholders and recommending changes to the TCSHM
- monitor and assess individual trainee progress in sexual health medicine, including assessing various types of applications such as training applications and applications for Recognition of Prior Learning
- modify training requirements for individual trainees as appropriate, in accordance with college policies and procedures
- reviewing Advanced Training Research Projects and Logbooks
- reviewing advanced training settings in sexual health medicine, including conducting site accreditation visits and reviewing site accreditation applications.
Members are appointed to the TCSHM for a 3-year term with the option to renew for a further term.
TCSHM meetings are held 3 to 4 times a year, with 1 meeting being face-to-face, usually held in November. The remaining meetings will be held via video conference.
