Port Macquarie Hospital Upgrade – Project Manager

⁠⁠⁠The Port Macquarie Critical Mechanical and Clinical Infrastructure Upgrade (the Project) will support the strategic infrastructure planning and delivery requirements for the health service.

Project goals

The Projects’ goals are to provide an upgrade to the critical mechanical and clinical infrastructure at the Port Macquarie Base Hospital and are as follows:

1. Enable MNCLHD to meet the rising demand for inpatient (incl. maternity), emergency, non- admitted patient services due to the growing population and increasing prevalence of chronic diseases.
2. Address critical deficiencies in the existing infrastructure, particularly the aging mechanical systems in the 1994 building.
3. Improve service delivery by providing a modern and functional environment.
4. Align with government priorities for infrastructure development and healthcare service planning.
