The successful supplier will provide “field and tab” services for running the Business Sentiment Survey
Project goals
The Department of Customer Service (DCS) runs the Business Sentiment Survey (BSS), which is a monthly quantitative online survey that provides a finger on the pulse of NSW small and medium business by asking about business sentiment, health and wellbeing, mindset and performance. A geographical and industry lens is crucial for this research.
The insights generated from the BSS feed into decision making on business support policies and play an important part in shaping the NSW government’s response to support NSW small and medium businesses through specific events and current economic conditions. Insights generated by the survey are provided to Departments across NSW Government and are circulated to key senior NSW Government decision makers on a fortnightly basis.
This study has run since March 2021, with 44 waves conducted as of September 2024.
