Tender Description
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is responsible for maintaining the road network in the forest estate. DEECA utilises a road classification system to describe standards and maintenance regimes.
The DEECA Strategic Fire Road Network (SFRN) is used to control and prevent bushfire, by utilising these roads as major fire breaks or burn boundaries in emergency situations and when conducting fuel reduction burns. These roads also provide important access to the public land estate for members of the community and wider public seeking enjoyment and recreation.The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) T2024-0520 for the provision of two maintenance grades with patch sheeting of South Face Road pre and post fire season (Spring and Autumn).
