The Department of Defence requires a Standing Offer Panel arrangement for the purchase of Office Furniture (Category A), Living-In Accommodation Furniture and Whitegoods (Categories B and C), and Household Furniture Hire (Category D).
Category A consists of 4 sub-categories: (A1) Seating (A2) Tables (A3) Workstations (A4) Storage.
Category B consists of 2 sub-categories: (B1) Accommodation (B2) Dining Furniture.
Category C consists of 2 sub-categories: (C1) Whitegoods domestic (C2) Televisions.
Category D consists of 2 sub-categories: (D1) Household Furniture Hire (D2) Household Appliance Hire.
This Standing Offer Panel arrangement is one of a number of methods that Defence acquire Categories A and B type Office and Living-In Accommodation Furniture and Whitegoods. Other methods consist of Major Capital Works; Defence Estate Managed Works Program; and Leased Premises.
This Standing Offer Panel will be accessible by other Commonwealth Non-Corporate and Corporate entities, upon request.
Other Instructions: Suppliers may tender for all or selected sub-categories within Categories.
