Tender Details
Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Preventing Preterm Birth grant opportunity will run over two years from 2024-25 to 2025-26 and will support clinical leaders, researchers, maternity hospitals and communities to safely reduce the rate of preterm and early-term birth in Australia through a range of evidence-based interventions to manage known risk factors for preterm birth.
Activities in each jurisdiction will be adapted for their local context and will consider the health determinants of women in priority population groups, including First Nations peoples and people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
The Preventing Preterm Birth grant activity must promote and provide key interventions that have been proven to lower the rate of preterm birth, including smoking cessation, cervical length measurement and promotion of continuity of care.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, you must be one of the organisations listed in Section 4.1 of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines and have received an invitation to apply from the department.
Organisations invited to apply have experience and expertise in implementing preterm birth prevention initiatives nationally.
