Margaret Connellan Stadium

⁠⁠⁠Margaret Connellan Stadium is a newly built sporting facility for local and community sports in the City of Stonnington.

Located next to Chadstone Shopping Centre and within the Percy Treyvaud Park project, the stadium will meet a range of sporting needs. With four state-of-the-art multipurpose courts equipped for netball, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and badminton.

Casual or school holiday hire

We welcome sports teams and schools to apply for casual or school holiday use for the following courts:

• four netball courts
• four basketball courts
• three badminton courts
• two volleyball courts
• three PickleBall courts

Bookings are subject to availability. We will assess your booking, contact you to confirm your booking time, and provide alternatives where possible.

Before booking, refer to the conditions of hire. Organisations must provide evidence of public liability insurance upon confirmation of booking.

Ongoing or regular hire

We use an Expression of Interest (EOI) process for regular and ongoing hire. This helps us understand the best way to achieve fair and transparent facility allocations.

New applications are required each year in September for use in the following year.

When assessing allocations, we consider factors including:

• booking size and duration
• the type of sport or activity
• whether the group is local or from outside the municipality.

We welcome applications for use of single or multiple courts at the same time.
