Tender ID: 561276
Tender Details
Tender Description
Parks Victoria is seeking to engage a panel of suitably qualified vertebrate pest controllers under a Deed of Standing Offer to deliver on-ground operational services for the French Island Feral Cat Eradication Project.
As a multi-year environmental program, the project is required to work to an adaptive management model where monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement is required to deliver the on-ground activities.
The project must be able to adapt to changes in circumstances with agility and flexibility in eradication methods to respond to feral cat population numbers and climatic conditions. Therefore, the services required will be dependent on the needs of the project, eradication progress and funding. The French Island Feral Cat Eradication Project requires Suppliers to provide on-ground operational services (trapping, ground shooting, baiting, monitoring) that will occur within the French Island National Park and on private land to achieve coverage across the island within specific areas targeted based on feral cat activity and sightings and directed by the Parks Victoria Operations Lead. The Deed of Standing Offer will be established for the period from 1 November 2024 to 31 December 2026 with option terms to extend the services.
Parks Victoria intends at its discretion, to issue supply orders for the carrying out of specific services throughout the contract duration. The services required may be ad-hoc over the contract term with periods of high and low activity depending on the operational requirements and funding availability.
