Expressions of interest are open to all Aotearoa NZ Fellows to be the Aotearoa NZ President-elect from 2024 to 2026.

The Aotearoa NZ President-elect collaborates with the Aotearoa NZ President and Aotearoa NZ Committee in guiding the governance framework and direction of the College in Aotearoa New Zealand in a mutually co-operative and consultative atmosphere.
The Aotearoa NZ Committee is a Board committee, and consistent with the Constitution, it's established to advance the interests of the College within Aotearoa NZ. The Governance of College Bodies By-law (PDF) and the Aotearoa NZ Committee By-law (PDF) guide the operations of the Committee.
The Committee partners with the Māori Health Committee to provide a leadership and support role for Fellows and Trainees in Aotearoa NZ.
The President-elect serves a 2-year term and becomes President of the Aotearoa NZ Committee and a director on the RACP Board for a further 2-year term.
