Design & Construction Services of:
New Transfer Pump Station at Numurkah Water Treatement Plant to accommodate the Water Supply of the Katunga Pipeline and the Nathalia Pipeline. Package includes associated plumb to connect into the Water Treatement Plant.
New 1.2 ML Clear Water Storage at Numurkah Water Treatement Plant. Package includes the associated pipework to connect into the Water Treatment Plant and Transfer Pump Station
The Nathalia WTP site is proposed to undergo extensive alterations to enable the existing WTP and in-ground storage basin to be isolated and decommissioned after the water supply from Numurkah WTP has been commissioned and proven in operation. The new works required at the Nathalia WTP site include:
Connection of the new supply from Numurkah WTP to the existing above ground pipework downstream of the in-ground storage basin and upstream of the Clear Water Storage Tank at the rear of the property.
Installation of a new chlorination building and dosing and monitoring systems with dosing into the inlet of the Clear Water Storage Tank.
Installation and connection of a new main switch board to operate and control the existing Hi-lift pump station that pumps to the Nathalia Water Tower and to operate the remaining instrumentation on site, the site services and the new chlorination plant.
Following successful commissioning of the new water supply from Numurkah WTP to Nathalia Ground Level Storage, all the assets on the Nathalia WTP site will be decommissioned except those required to maintain water supply to Nathalia in future
