Tender Details
Tender Description
The City of Sydney ("the City") invites Requests for Tender for the carrying out of Design and Construct for Seawater Source Heat Pumps at Andrew Boy Charlton (ABC) Pool in accordance with this request for tender.
Background
To reduce the direct carbon emissions from gas fired equipment, the City is looking to convert ABC Pool to an all-electric equipment facility. This will allow greater amounts of on-site renewable energy to be utilised and residual power requirements to be sourced from off-site renewable energy via a PPA.
This project aims to replace aged plant with modern efficient and reliable plant that will provide high service levels while also contributing to the City's emission reduction goals.
Project Overview
1. Eliminate 100% of the site's natural gas use including:
a. Pool heating
b. Domestic hot water
2. Replace any pool pump and filtration support equipment at end of life (excluding pool filtration).
Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this request for tender.
