Council is seeking to update its register of pre-qualified suppliers for training services across the entire region covered by Council, on an as required basis for both programmed and reactive tasks.The Learning Organisational Development and Engagement (LODE) team coordinate Council’s training and talent development programs, including Workplace Health and Safety training. This team provides a Council-wide strategic approach to learning and development, in line with Council’s Corporate Plan goals and objectives. Our commitment to employee learning and development is paramount with corporate training programs provided by Council in the following areas:
• Corporate;
• Legislative compliance;
• Core skills; and
• Professional and career development
• Leadership development
• Organisational development
To assist in the provision of these programs, Council is seeking submissions from training providers, companies or individuals that wish to be considered for inclusion on its register of pre-qualified suppliers for training goods and services. Ad hoc training is also carried out by Council’s operational areas and does not form part of this tender process. Council reserves the right to procure training goods or services outside of this contract, when deemed necessary.
