Grass Cutting Services

South East Water is looking for the provision of Grass Cutting Services (Services) for South East Water’s 175 water and 193 sewer sites, as well as our nine (9) Water Recycling Plant sites (Site) within our geographical service area, for a total of 377 sites.

This Specification applies to the following services:

• Cutting, edging, trimming of grass within South East Water sites as per designated schedule / frequency;
• Sweeping and removing of clippings on driveways and footpaths, if required;
• Collecting and removing of any litter within South East Water sites prior to the commencement of the grass cutting;
• Weed spraying, as required;
• Plan and program the Services in accordance with the land maintenance schedule and frequencies set out;
• Provision of all labour, vehicles, plant and equipment, training, etc. required to perform the Service; and
• All other related services as requested by South East Water.

The general objectives of this Contract are that the Supplier:

• Assists South East Water in maintaining its sites in a functional, safe and aesthetically acceptable manner to the satisfaction of the stakeholders in general;
• Provide a cost effective and comprehensive Services for South East Water, undertaking and managing the continuous Services in a professional, safe and environmentally responsible manner;
• Help South East Water achieve its budget and performance targets.

The Services must be an efficient, effective, timely and compliant one, for the operational and aesthetic aspects of the sites.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Supplier is responsible for the full cost of the Services including any associated costs.
