Coonamble Shire (Council) is seeking Submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the provision of road reconstruction and box culvert construction for Tooraweenah Road in accordance with project specific specifications and drawings..

The Works comprise the reconstruction and sealing of Tooraweenah Road in a series of 16 work sites ranging between 220 and 1,960 metres long, based on the location of existing and new culverts within the section.

The work comprises the:

• Demolition of existing culverts and replacement with precast reinforced concrete box culverts,
• Construction of new precast reinforced concrete box culverts,
• Provision of open drains,
• Widening the existing road formation,
• Shape correction and slag/lime stabilisation of the subbase,
• Construction of a new DGB20 road pavement,
• Application of the initial 14mm single/ single (with 7mm scatter coat) sprayed bituminous primer seal,
• Provision of guard fencing, and
• Vegetation of disturbed areas

A Mandatory tender briefing session and site inspection will be conducted in person on 20.06.2024 at 10AM AEST. Address is provided within the tender documents. Registration is required for the session and can be done by emailing the contact officer in the tender documents.

The purpose of the briefing session is to advise all potential Tenderers of the background of the project and the tender process to ensure suppliers have an understanding of the requirements to submit a conforming tender. Tenderers will also be given the opportunity to access the site.
