Provision of Cleaning Services - Council Buildings

Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors for cleaning services to Council Facilities. The services include cleaning of Administration Buildings, Libraries, Community Hubs, Children Centres and Maternal Child Health Offices, Aquatic Centres, Stadiums and Sports Pavilions across the local government area of the Greater Shepparton City Council.

The scope of the Services provided under the contract are as follows:

• Provision of cleaning services, materials and equipment that meet the reasonable needs of the Occupiers and the Users;
• Ensure that properties are managed and maintained with the utmost commitment to Workplace Safety;
• Ensure that the properties are cleaned and managed in a hygienic and presentable state;
• Ensure that the Services are performed efficiently and effectively with minimal disruption to the Occupiers and Users, and in compliance with all regulations and statutory requirements;
• Ensure that best practice customer service standards are developed and maintained for delivery of the Service;
• Provide the Services in a responsive, effective and efficient manner to meet the Councils requirements for the care and management of these assets;

Non-Compulsory pre-tender site visits will be held on Wednesday 29 May 2024 from 8.00am (AEST).

Tenders can be only lodged on line. Please note Greater Shepparton City Council no longer accepts hardcopy tenders. Please submit all tenders through the TenderSearch website.

It is Council’s policy not to accept Tenders received after the specified closing time.

Council will not accept any tender submissions by facsimile, or by e-mail.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS:

• Council expressly advises that failure to supply pricing in the section provided will result in your tender not being evaluated.
• All Tender Schedules 1-9 (including 1A - Price Book) must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated.
• You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the RESPONSE tab.
• All submissions must be submitted via this online portal; submissions made through any other means will not be accepted or considered.
• Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted and you will be unable to continue.
• You are encouraged to upload your submission early to avoid missing out.
• We recommend you access a good quality network/internet connection. Greater Shepparton City Council is not responsible for your internet connection quality.
• All communications regarding the submission must be via the online forum. If you have any questions or require assistance, you must lodge an online query through the QUESTIONS tab no later than five (5) days prior to tender close.
