Tender Description
Parks Victoria (PV) has received funding to deliver sailing club upgrades at Albert Park Lake. The scope for delivery includes:
- Demolition of existing timber jetty
- Installation of 3No. new pontoons
- Installations of 2No. new ramps
- Installation of new double birth w/ 4 No berths, gangway, security gate, whalers, and relocated flagpole
- Canoe launching device
This procurement opportunity is for the progression of an existing high-level design layout to final design stage, and the delivery of the construction works. PV is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor (the ‘Supplier’, ‘Respondent’, ‘Proponent’ or ‘Contractor’) to undertake the works. The Supplier will work closely with the relevant Parks Victoria Representative to the ensure safe and timely completion of all required works.
The scope of works generally consists of the following items:
- General admin – attendance at meetings, hold discussions with Rangers and building Tenants, coordinate all sub-contractors (if used),
- Submit detailed, and final design packages for PV review and consideration in the form of detailed specifications and drawings,
- Identify, procure, manage, and deliver all relevant local authority/ statutory/ permits, approvals, and permissions associated with the installation of new pontoons (excludes heritage, cultural heritage, and environmental permits),
- Develop construction delivery plan, SWMS, and quality management system for PV comment, and undertake all PV site inductions,
- Procure all materials, labour, and plant required to deliver the works. Attend site and deliver construction works as per approved final design package, PV approved delivery strategy, and terms of contract,
- Provide handover documentation - O&M Manuals/ As-Built drawings,
- Provide warranty period of maintenance and testing equipment to ensure the continued operational performance of all installations.
