Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations seeks hosting, maintenance and support services of the full suite of systems that support the training.gov.au website.
The suite of TGA systems includes:
- The National Register of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. It is the authoritative source of information on training packages (and their components), accredited courses and the registered training organisations (RTOs) authorised to deliver them.
- The Training Package Content Management System (TPCMS) where Jobs and Skills Councils (JSCs) manage training packages, their components and related content, and associated metadata to the TGA website.
- A web services system which allows for read and write access (depending on user) to the National Register. This is used by the three VET regulators, RTOs, state training authorities, and the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER).
- VETNet (vetnet.gov.au) is a repository of documents that supports the VET sector. It holds the companion volume implementation guides, which are an essential supporting document for the delivery of training package components.
The seller must host, maintain, support and when requested enhance these systems, subject to their replacement during the contract period by the rebuild project underway.
