Below is a summary of the description of Works;
- The provision of network inspections, and joint Contractor / Superintendent inspections to determine work requirements and programme
Opening Up grading as per the scope on pages 36 & 39
Mid-season one (1) maintenance grading as per the scope on page 42
Mid-season two (2) maintenance grading as per the scope on page 45
Closing Up grade as per the scope on page 48
A request may be made for Heavy Grading, and ordered works (4 Areas) including the provision, clearing and reinstatement of drainage systems, pavement conditioning and blending and shaping - note this is optional and additional works
A request may be made for Re-sheeting, the determination of resources (gravel and water), Heavy Grading and the conditioning, extracting, carting, shaping and compaction of a newly blended granular pavement layer - note this is optional and additional works.
Contractors are required to keep cattle grids on all roads within the contract as clean as possible at all times. Cattle grids shall be cleaned at the end of the contract out full depth and width, allow through flow of water if applicable and be able to function correctly as a cattle grid. If during the contract grids are required to be cleaned it shall be at the contractor's cost. Before and after cleaning photos are required for all grids at the end of the contract as per schedule of fees. This detail is to be reported to the Principal as an attachment to the Contractor's payment invoice. If this information is not provided payment maybe withheld.
