Tree Watering Trucks and Ancillary Services Panel

⁠⁠⁠The Territory seeks to establish a panel of suitably resourced Contractors to provide watering services to support the Territory’s tree planting program (the Services).

The provision of Services under the panel will include:

(a) Watering Services – water trees and shrubs in specified locations across Canberra;

(b) Data Collection and Reporting – use Field Maps (run by ArcGIS) to document information such as water abstraction, tree condition, quantity of water delivered per tree; and

(c) Ancillary Services – work executed only when necessary or requested by the Territory, as a secondary priority. Ancillary services may include but are not limited to; weed removal, reforming watering basins around trees to improve water uptake and tree re-staking.

A briefing session will be held at Diddams Close, Boat Ramp, Lake Ginninderra, Belconnen, ACT, Australia, 2617 on 4 July 2024 10:00 am.

Notes: Interested parties are invited to attend an Industry Briefing and Inspection in relation to Territory’s Tree Watering Trucks and Ancillary Services Panel (RFT PITC0002881).As part of the briefing attendees will have the opportunity to inspect one of the Territory’s current watering vehicles and learn more about the Territory’s requirements tree watering Services, including:•Meter reading instructions.•Filling point/s•Guidance on how the Territory would like trees to be watered; and•Requirements for data collection.The purpose of the briefing and inspection is to assist Respondents better understand the requirements as specified in the issued Statement of Requirements.
