Homes Victoria intends to release a Request for Tender in May 2024 for a single, and suitably certified, Contractor with a track record in soil remediation and removal to complete works including minor demolition in metropolitan Melbourne on land owned by the Director of Housing.

This will be a select tender process called from pre-qualified Consultants on the Construction Supplier Register (CSR).

Contract award is expected in Quarter 3 2024.

Respondents are required to hold Federal Safety Accreditation (FSC Commonwealth Accreditation).

The Government’s Local Jobs First policy and Social Procurement Framework apply to this procurement. Tender participants will need to complete a Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) as part of Local Jobs First requirements. The Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG) and Apprenticeships Victoria requirements also apply to this procurement. These commitments must be included within the LIDP.

The Government’s Fair Jobs Code Plan apply to this procurement and tender participants will need to hold a Pre-Assessment Certificate at the time of Tender submission.
