This project is for the Tier 2 capacity assessment of timber and concrete bridges throughout Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Local Government Area.

We have successfully secured grant funding with NSW Government Fixing Country Roads Program under the Bridge and Route Load Assessment Stream. The key objective of this engagement is to engage suitably qualified contractor(s) to carry out the Tier 2 bridge assessment in accordance with the Strategic Local Government Asset Assessment Project (SLGAAP) – Asset Assessment Guide (Phase 2 (version 01 – 2022) in three discrete packages of work:

• Package 1: Timber bridges
• Package 2: Major concrete bridges and
• Package 3: Minor concrete bridges.

Load capacity assessments completed as part of this Assessment Program will be used to inform the Council Bridge Management System and improve the overall knowledge of the bridge capacity in the LGA to assist prioritization, ranking, application of load limits if required.

A pre-quotation briefing will be held via Microsoft teams on Wednesday 24 April 2024 at 10:00am (AEST). Attendance at this briefing is a mandatory requirement of participation.
