Expression of Interest for Lease of Flagstaff Hill Restaurant

⁠⁠⁠Warrnambool City Council is seeking expressions of interest for the lease of the Flagstaff Hill Restaurant, Flagstaff Hill Warrnambool, RS13792, 91 Merri St, Warrnambool VIC 3280, by business, entities or organisations for commercial purposes.

EOI’s will be assessed through a selection panel, against a number of criteria aligned with Council’s priority areas, including, facility use, asset management, local content, community benefit, financial return/economic benefit and prior experience in operating the proposed business to be located at the site.

Submissions are sought that must include the following:

• Draft “Business Plan” for the proposed operations of the facility.
• Indication of rental that would be offered by your proposal to WCC for use of the site;
• Council in considering your submission would consider this amount in line with current market rental valuations. Any rental amount offered will not be the sole consideration of Council in the final offering of any lease for the premises.
• Indication of proposed fit out and equipment to be utilised within the site. Any proposed internal building alterations must be advised as part of the submission for consideration as part of the proposal.
• A detailed summary of any relevant qualifications and experience for the proposed business to be operated.
• Details of previous similar businesses operated including any personal and professional references.
• Primary contacts for the submission authorised to discuss the proposal with WCC.
• Local Content / Benefit to be used / gained within / from the proposal.
