Tender Description
The Department is seeking a suitable supplier to establish a Residential Youth Justice Facility (the Facility) that will provide accommodation options for young people aged between 12-17 with accommodation, support and education while engaged in the youth justice system as a result of bail conditions and/or who have been sentenced by the Court.
An Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) is in place. Tenderers will need to consider the ILUA commitments which include:
- The Facility operator is an Aboriginal Business Enterprise
- The Facility operator is to meet Aboriginal employment targets of 40%
