Tender Description

Council is seeking Quotes for proposed maintenance works on Pedestrian Bridges at various location within Council Municipality (5 Pedestrian Bridge in total).

Site 1 : Darebin Creek Reserve (1 Abercorn Ave, Ivanhoe)

• Timber splitting, minor section loss, loose screws – Maintaining Timber railing.

• Replace uneven concrete footpath on the bridge approach on North side.

Site 2 : Plenty River Reserve (12A George Court, Greensborough)

• Remove the vegetation and replace the raveling asphalt footpath at South Side of the Bridge approaches.

• Repaint the peeling paint of Timber railing on South side of the Bridge

Site 3 : Warringal Parklands (2 Beverley Rd, Heidelberg)

• Fill the mortar on the Arch culvert and endwalls to ensure there is no gap/cracks on Bridge.

• Supply and install rock beaching and seal concrete on top – Match the site condition.

Site 4 : Main St – The Circuit to Plenty River (152 Main Street, Greensborough)

• Repaint the whole bridge by applying a protective coating on steel barriers and plates.

• Remove debris and tree logs that are blocking entrance of the box culvert.

Site 5 : Lakeside Drive, Lower Plenty (Corner of Lakeside Dr and Bonds Rd)

• Replace aging timber railing on both Side of the bridge.

• Replace the deck bridge with the Fibre Glass mini mesh.

• Replace uneven concrete footpath on both side of the bridge approach.
