Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) invites capable and experienced technology vendors in Behavioural Analytics (BA) to register their interest to explore the opportunity to provide their services to assist with managing the following use cases on the Melbourne metropolitan rail network:

1. Anti-social behaviour: Unruly, aggressive, or violent behaviour.

2. Trespassers or self-harm: Pre-empting self-harm and trespass related behaviour.

3. Regular presenters: Repeat or frequent presenters entering the network causing disruptions.

MTM has identified the potential to improve the management of the use cases using BA technology. MTM is seeking to partner with one or more innovative and responsive BA technology providers to undertake a range of focused BA Proof of Concept (PoC) trials to assess the viability and applicability of the technology for identified use cases.

Vendors registering their interest and shortlisted by MTM will be provided a Request for Information (RFI) to assess their capability to meet MTM’s use cases and to potentially conduct PoC trial.

Note: By registering interest, MTM does not guarantee the vendor will progress to the next stage. A RFI to assess the viability of PoC trials will only be issued by MTM to shortlisted vendors. The purpose for registering interest is to assist MTM with understanding market technology.
