ABOUT THE CITY OF LAKE MACQUARIE:
Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 35% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 217,000 Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. Moreover, the city's population is expected to grow by 39,000 by 2041, creating a demand for 12,000 new dwellings and associated infrastructure.
ABOUT THE TENDER: Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of Insurance Broking Services and relevant appropriate Motor Vehicle insurance premiums for an initial period of three 3 years. There will be two options of extension for a one 1 year term at the discretion of Council and based on satisfactory performance. The contract will commence on 1 July 2024.
Tenderers shall address the requirements regarding the provision of services and insurance coverage for Motor Vehicles which meet the operational and strategic needs of Council. More specifically, Council is seeking the following:
- Cost and coverage
- Service and claims advice
- Annual strategic actuarial analysis
ENQUIRIES: Tender enquiries should be directed to Natalie Nissen, the Procurement Officer via the online forum. Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box or in a sealed envelope. The envelope is to be endorsed with the Tender number, title, and closing date and can be mailed or placed in the Tender Box located in Councils Administration Building, Ground Floor, 126 - 138 Main Road, Speers Point by the nominated time and date.
TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderers obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderers Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed nor engage in any form of collusive practice not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tender close at 2.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time AEST or Australian Eastern Daylight Time AEDT, whichever is applicable in NSW at the time of tender close on Friday, date: 26 April 2024 and submissions must be received in full prior to this time. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
Late submissions are not accepted.
