South East Water is one of Melbourne’s three state-owned metropolitan water retailers. We provide water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services for residents and businesses in Melbourne’s south east, located in the state of Victoria, Australia.

We service more than 1.75 million people including more than 748,000 residential water customers and more than 55,106 non-residential water customers.

In a region spanning 3,640 square kilometres, each year we deliver more than 137 billion litres of drinking water and collect and treat more than 108 billion litres of wastewater. SCOPE OF WORKS

South East Water is looking to appoint a suitable qualified contractor for providing fencing services at South East Water sites. This includes supply of material as per the specification, delivery to site, installation, waste removal/disposal from all the sites, provision of all labour, vehicles, plant and equipment, etc. required to perform the services.

The services to be provided include but are not limited to any one or any combination of the following at South East Water’s water and sewer sites.

Below is the list of fencing types required at South East Water sites:

• Construction of Stock fencing (Farm fencing)
• Construction of chain mesh / Weld mesh fencing
• Construction of picket fencing
• Construction of Palisade fencing
• Construction of paling fencing
• Construction of Colourbond fencing
• Repair and maintenances activities of all above type of fences

CONTRACT OBJECTIVES

The outcomes that South East Water is looking for are as follows:

• Provides a cost effective and comprehensive fencing services for South East Water; undertaking and managing the safe handling, transport of material. The services must be efficient, effective, timely and compliant for the operational and environmental aspect of the sites;
• Support recycling and other green initiatives, if applicable.

For the avoidance of doubt, the contractor is responsible for the full cost of fencing services, including all material, fees, and any associated costs (ex. underground asset location).
