Community Safety Building Authority, DJCS

The Community Safety Building Authority (CSBA) has been established to design, procure, build, and upgrade the infrastructure needed to keep communities safe.

CSBA provides end-to-end project management and delivery of Victoria’s new prisons, youth justice centres, court and custody facilities, emergency services facilities and public safety measures on behalf of the Department of Justice and Community Safety.

Fire Services, CSBA

The Fire Service team within CSBA manages and delivers infrastructure projects on behalf of Country Fire Authority (CFA).

Provision of Services

CSBA seeks a head contractor who is registered on the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) Construction Supplier Register (CSR) under the New Commercial Construction category to deliver the CFA Pyalong Fire Station under the CSBA Fire Services portfolio of works.

The period of contract works is two years including Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Summary of Scope of Works

The scope of works will include site clearing/minor demolition of existing infrastructure and the construction of a new Type 1B, 2-Bay Volunteer Fire Station at the specified location of works in Pyalong.

Tenderers will provide a fee proposal for the CFA Pyalong Fire Station, exclusively. CSBA will review offers for value for money, and sound understanding and capacity to deliver the scope of works within State delivery guidelines.
