Rural Waste Transfer Station Standalone Solar Installations

⁠⁠⁠Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) operate 8 Rural Waste Transfer sites where it is impractical to connect to mains power supply.

Currently these sites are occupied for 5 hours 3 times a week and there is no 240V electrical structure available onsite. A 12V battery/solar system is available onsite which is servicing Remote camera recording, internet, and EFTPOS facilities. This tender is for design, construct, install and maintain each solar installation at each site. The tender is also inclusive of 240V Load centre/switchboard, lighting within the container and 3 x GPOs each on their own circuit for comms cabinet, Kitchenet and operators Desk.

Each installation includes the PV Solar system, consisting of the PV solar and battery array, and the reticulation of the 240v AC connections to the load centre and power distribution within the container as per the site conditions.

The tender is in two parts:

Part A: Design, Supply and Install - TRC will purchase each installation. The Contactor shall provide separate pricing for the Design, Supply, and Installation of each solar installation, and shall warrant the installations as detailed in this document.

Part B: Maintain - TRC has proposed a maintenance schedule in this section. The Contractor shall review the maintenance proposed in this section and confirm / recommend the required preventive maintenance program.
