Tender Description
Ausgrid requires the supply of complete 5 MW BESS equipment packages, capable of connecting at 11 kV, for deployment across multiple community battery sites. This documentation defines the performance and design requirements divided in 3 scope items:
- Scope Item A - Medium-Voltage (MV) Station, including enclosures, transformers, switchgear, auxiliary systems, protection, control, communications and associated infrastructure.
- Scope Item B - Power Conversion System (PCS), including inverters/converters and associated control equipment.
- Scope Item C - Battery Containers, including cells, modules, DC-DC converters (if required), DC switchgear, Thermal System, fire management and Battery Management System (BMS)
