Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (the Principal) requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to conduct truck and mobile tank watering of the following (but not limited to):
• Trees
• Shrubs
• Roll On Turf
• Tube Stock
The water will be supplied by the Principal.
Most of the watering will be on a scheduled basis; however, some ad-hoc watering may also be required.
The Contractor: under the proposed Contract, will be required to provide all labour, plant, tools and equipment, materials, transportation/cartage, administrative costs, travelling expenses etc. and anything else necessary for the completion of the works/services.
Note: A review will be conducted by the Principal after the first twelve (12) months to ensure the effectiveness of the service provided is satisfactory and meets the requirements of the Principal. The Principal reserves the right to terminate the proposed contract and seek alternatives if the aims of the review are not met after the first twelve (12) months.
All services shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal’s Representative in strict accordance with the Contract, this Specification, and the Contracted Schedule of Rates, along with any work instruction issued by the Principal’s Representative.
The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.
The proposed Contract shall be in place for a period of three (3) years from the date of award; with Principal instigated options to extend the period for a subsequent one (1) year period and up to an additional twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.
The Contract is expected to commence in April 2024.
