A consultant is required to update Councils Native Vegetation Works Program (NVWP). This is for the management of seven of its inland conservation reserves. The previous NVWP has now passed the end of its intended 10-year management period, and requires updating for the next 10-year management period. The key objective of this project is to provide best-practice native vegetation management actions. The NVWP should include a desktop review, consultation with Council staff, bushland contractors and local Friends groups, field surveys to assess the vegetation and production of a Native Vegetation Works Program document for each of the sites. The NVWP is used by Council to guide management priorities, inform funding applications, monitor effectiveness of management actions, cost the delivery of on-ground works and track achievements of milestones each year
