This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
AMSA is seeking the services of a specialist cyber security organisation to assist in:
- the preparation of procurement documentation for an RFQ for IT Security Services; and
- the review and evaluation of responses to the RFQ.
The documentation will include functional and non-functional requirements, evaluation criteria and contract development, and will draw on work done to date including existing functional security requirements documentation. The services being procured through the RFQ for IT Security Services include:
- Delivery of AMSA’s Cyber Security Operating Model
- Management of the Security Operations Centre (SOC), and
- Management of cyber security incidents (including Forensic Analysis if required).
The IT Security Services will be required to align with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential Eight and AMSA’s Incident Response Plan and policies.
AMSA’s agreed templates will be used for preparation of procurement documentation and all activities will be carried out in consultation with the Director IT Ops & Cyber Security.
We have estimated 30 days effort to consult with stakeholders (CIO, ITSA, IT Security Lead, Agency Security Advisor, Privacy Officer), develop necessary documentation and review responses to the IT Security Services RFQ. However, respondents should propose a draft schedule with key deliverables, noting a contract for IT Security Services must be in place prior to 30 June 2024.
