Tender Description
Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and capable contractors to establish a panel for building works up to the value of $300,000 (incl. GST) on a schedule of rates basis.
Only registered commercial builders will be appointed.
It is intended to appoint up to 5 builders to the panel.
The Initial Contract Term shall be for a maximum initial period of 1 year with the option to extend for further periods of any duration up to a maximum extension period of 3 years at Council’s discretion.
Contractors must have the capability to perform integrated construction works comprising of trades including but not limited to:
• Building maintenance works
• Structural works including steelwork and concrete works
• Earthworks including excavation
• Brick work
• Electrical works
• Carpentry works
• Plumbing works
• Fire services works
• Glazing
• Finishes including tiling, painting and plaster
• Joinery works
• Asbestos removal
• Mechanical works
• Painting works and finishing trades
