Northern Beaches Council is requesting quotes to conduct a routine inspection of the structural elements of every road and pedestrian bridge and major road culvert in the Northern Beaches Local Government Area as required once every 12 months in order to ensure that the bridges are safe and all precautionary and remedial works are undertaken for any damage or wear that may result.
The purpose of the service is to assess the current condition of Council's bridges and major culverts in order to arrange an appropriate maintenance works schedule and identify any defects which present a risk to the ongoing performance of the bridge and safety of its users.
Council may request the consultant to provide the same services for 2025 under the same terms and conditions.
