The West Wimmera Shire Council (Council) wishes to appoint a contractor to manage and operate the Edenhope, Goroke and Kaniva Swimming Pools (Swimming Pools) and/or the Kaniva Poolside Caravan Park for a term of three years, with the option of two by one-year extensions at the Council’s discretion.

The objective is to provide a high-quality standard of management of the Swimming Pools and Caravan Park for it to be maintained in a safe, clean and hygienic condition and in good repair for all users at all times.

The Council’s main objective for the Swimming Pools is to allow people to swim more often and to ensure that the community’s aquatic assets are developed and managed to effectively meet the current and changing needs of the community.

 The Council recognises the importance of the management and operation of the Swimming Pools and Caravan Park for the community. This specification seeks to provide a framework by which the Swimming Pools and Caravan Park is managed in a manner that maximises community engagement and ensures participant safety.
