Management of Leisure (Active Wellbeing) Services

⁠⁠⁠The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City or Council") invites Expressions of Interest ("EOI") for the Management of Leisure (Active Wellbeing) Services under an outsourced model contract in accordance with this request.

The City owns six high-quality aquatic leisure centres that play a meaningful, pivotal, yet sustainable role in supporting the health and wellbeing of local communities.

The City is looking to enter a contract with a suitable organisation under an outsourced model with a single combined contract that gives due consideration to strategic alignment objectives, efficiencies and effectiveness, changing customer demand and other associated factors.

The new contract will focus on how the City best leverages the existing aquatic leisure community assets and the broader public domain to improve outcomes for residents and the community, contributing to our overall aims by putting people at the heart of everything we do.

The City's vision, aspirations and ambitions will play a leading role throughout the tender sourcing process. The EOI is the first stage of a two-stage process to identify and pre-select organisations whose capabilities, capacity, track records, and goals align with the City's.

The EOI will also provide an opportunity for prospective Respondents to draw on industry insights and experiences to be considered in preparing the final Request for Tender specification.

A briefing will not be held for the EOI. Briefing/s will be conducted as part of the select Request for Tender Process.

The City may invite Respondents to an online interview to review and clarify the EOI Response and to enable the City to interview key personnel identified in the Response.
