Tender Description

Gippsland Water is a statutory authority created under the Water Act 1989 to manage water and wastewater services within the central Gippsland region.

Our service area covers approximately 5,000 square kilometres and stretches from Drouin in the west to Loch Sport in the east, and from Mirboo North in the south and Briagolong in the north.

We supply clean drinking water to 75,662 households and businesses, and wastewater services to 68,092 households and businesses across 43 towns. We have 164,000 customers that include major industries, some of which are of state and national significance.

We maintain a $1.55 billion infrastructure network which includes more than 2,200 km of water mains, 15 water treatment plants, over 1,800 km of sewer mains and 14 wastewater treatment plants.

Gippsland Water is planning to introduce a customer app and would like our customers engaged during the process to ensure that the customer experience and user design aligns with the needs and expectations of our customers.

For the purpose of this EOI, the organisation seeks to gain a more detailed understanding of the market and solutions that are available. This will include an understanding of your experience delivering similar projects, the proposed delivery methodology, cost to procure, implement and ongoing maintenance costs.

Gippsland Water is seeking invitee’s response to the invitation for the supply of goods and/or services as outlined in Part A.2.

This EOI may be the first and only stage of a procurement process, subject to quality and depth of submissions or alternatively, it may form part of a multi‑stage procurement process with a selective Request for Tender (RFT) to follow at a later date. For further information relating to the next stage (if any) of the EOI process refer to clause 6 of Part B.2.
