Expansion of the Vehicle Identity Validation (VIV) Scheme

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) invites Supplier to provide an EOI for the expansion of the Vehicle Identity Validation (VIV) scheme.

The VIV scheme provides for a vehicle assessed and recorded on the Written-off Vehicles Register (WOVR) as a Repairable Write-Off (RWO) to be inspected to confirm:

• the vehicle ID is original
• repairs are to manufacturer standards
• provenance of parts

The details for the expansion of the VIV scheme are fully outlined in Part A.2 – Specifications.

You need to be an existing License Vehicle Tester (LVT) registered with the Department of Transport and Planning in order to submit this EOI.
