Tender Description
District Council of Robe invites quotes from Respondents for the upgrading of the Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) Pump station control system and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition SCADA Upgrade.
The Council presently oversees the operation of 23 pump stations dedicated to wastewater management within the Robe township.
The conveyance of wastewater occurs through an underground network of transfer tanks, ultimately leading to the township's wastewater treatment plant for further processing.
Currently, the existing pump station infrastructure faces considerable challenges in effectively accommodating the growing demands of the township.
Consequently, there has been a notable increase in the need for extensive reactive maintenance by the Council's operations team, presenting formidable obstacles.
The hardware utilised within these pump stations is not standardised and in many instances is obsolete and unsupported.
