Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s close to $16 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefits to the industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Next-gen pyrethrum project to address industry disease challenges (PY23002).
The project aims to deliver on the following key objectives:
- Develop effective and efficient monitoring tools for ray blight and tan spot.
- Develop evidence-based economic thresholds to inform fungicide application decisions.
- Establish disease tolerance levels beyond which disease load causes significant economic loss.
- Demonstrate the efficacy of the available control measures and identify the need to adopt different management options. Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information and outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
