EOI - Preliminary Feasibility and Options Information - Oaky River Dam Hydroelectric Energy Project

⁠⁠⁠Armidale Regional Council (the Council) has recently acquired the Oaky River Dam with the primary purpose of increasing water security for Armidale and the region.

The Oaky River Dam includes historical hydroelectric infrastructure that is not currently operational following a dam wall failure in 2013. The Council is considering options for future hydroelectricity generation at the Oaky River Dam and its capacity to provide affordable power to the Armidale region and beyond.

The Council has been approached by, and is seeking to engage with, renewable energy entities to assist the Council identify feasible renewable energy project options for the Oaky River Dam.

The Council is therefore inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons and entities to provide the Council with Preliminary Options and Feasibility Information for the Oaky River Dam (the Information). The Council understands that the Information is likely to include commercial in confidence information and proposes that the Council enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement/Deed (NDA) in the attached form with appropriate persons / entities who wish to participate and put a proposal to the Council.
