ABOUT THE CITY OF COFFS HARBOUR (City):

Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Coffs Harbour is a thriving regional coastal city of approximately 73,000 people and enjoys a unique lifestyle created by its geography and climate. Nestled between coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub.

ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ):

The City is seeking quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced consultancies to prepare a city-specific Waste Strategy which will address the waste management challenges and needs of the serviced community over the next 15-20 years.

Prospective consultants must therefore have substantial experience, including a sound record in delivery of projects of similar scale and nature, along with the capacity and resources to deliver the project within a reasonable accepted timeframe.

RFQ documents may be obtained after registration on through our tendering portal.

ENQUIRIES:

RFQ related enquiries should be directed to Mr Jason Stratford, Waste Contracts Manager, via the online forum.

SUBMISSIONS:

Completed responses are to be submitted via the electronic tender box using the provided MS Word document set included as Appendix 3 of the BRIEF for PREPARATION of the City of Coffs Harbour WASTE STRATEGY.

Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon completion.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:

Quotations will be received up until 10.00am on Wednesday 31st January 2023

Submissions must be fully uploaded by this time as the portal cuts off exactly on 10.00am

The City is not bound to accept the lowest priced quotation, all or any part of a quotation, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Quotation process and selection of the successful respondent as it sees most advantageous.

The City staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
